WinRamTurbo Free version 2.2
WinRamTurbo's Free Memory Optimizer for the Windows Operating System!

WinRamTurbo Free occupies less than 200K of Windows memory!! And it's EXE file is only 152K in size!

This program will run in the background without interfering with Windows. It makes sure there is enough memory available to load your applications. All one needs to do is adjust the RAM settings using the two trackbars. You can also manually optimize your RAM by clicking the Optimize button.

- Main Screen -
Free Ram: - Shows the ram that is free for system use!
Memory Load: - This is the memory load index.
Total Ram: - Shows the total system ram as reported by windows.
Uptime: - Shows the total windows operating time for the current run. It's format is days/hours:minutes:seconds.
CPU Usage: - Shows the current cpu load on the system.
Page file: - Shows the current swap file in use to the total swap file size.

- Settings (Dialog box) -
There are three settings found in the Settings dialog box. The first item in the Settings dialog box is "Stay on top of other windows". When this item is checked, the main application window will remain on top of the other applications on the Windows desktop that do not have the top most window setting. Other top most windows will act just like normal windows on the desktop except they all will remain on top of the normal desktop windows. The opposite is true when it is unchecked. The 2nd item is "Use System Tray Icon". If checked, this will put a status icon in the windows taskbar status tray allowing you to activate the minimized application by double clicking on the icon or right clicking the icon to view a popup menu. The third item is "Use incremental release". If checked, WinRamTurbo will incrementally release ram otherwise memory will be released in one shot.

- The RAM trackbars -
Memory to Free - This is the amount of memory you want freed when you click the Optimize button or when the trigger level has been reached.
Trigger Level - This setting causes RAM to be optimized when the available memory in Windows has fallen below the value of this setting.

Common settings are about 50% or half your total ram for the "Memory to Free" trackbar and 1-2 Meg for the "Trigger Level". If you set the Trigger Level to 0 (zero), this can be used to disable the automatic optimization of ram so one could monitor the Windows memory status instead.

- File Menu -
The file menu now incorporates the settings.
